The Rise of The Fallen
General term for the universe of Erithor. It consists of a crystal sphere surrounded by a howling tempest of possibilities known as The Far Realm. The sphere is divided into three parts. The upper portion is an astral sea filled with The Ten Thousand Things created by The Nameless One as experiments. The lower portion is a howling tempest of elemental forces that contains the raw materials of creation. In the center lies The Three Worlds, once a single, perfect world but shattered by the carelessness of The Seven Devil Lords. The Three Worlds are bounded by the Rivers of Time and Life, which flow into each other and provide a means for souls to be reincarnated, as well as providing a dynamic force within Creation to keep it from stagnating. At the bottom of the crystal sphere is a large crack known as The Abyss, where elementals corrupted by The Primordial into destructive demons dwell. Above the Three Worlds is a region of dreams and ideas made manifest, where sleeping minds create brief alternate realities new ideas and philosophies are given form. Many of The Ten Thousand Things have been transformed into Domains, personal realms for the various gods and other powerful beings. Seven of these Domains are prisons for The Seven Devil Lords. Some of the Ten Thousand Wonders have been corrupted by being too close to smaller cracks in the sphere, becoming Stars of Ill Omen.
